The True Cost

I recently realised that it’s really hard to know where to begin within this ethical fashion/sustainable living journey, and that ultimately if you don’t know where to look it’s hard to know where to start and why to stay motivated. That being said I’ve decided that over the coming months, I’ll be sharing with you sources I find valuable that have ultimately changed the way I not only consume but view my life.

To start this off I couldn’t think of a better place to begin then with the documentary that set me off on this journey and was ultimately the reason why Ethical Made Easy was born.

The True Cost documentary follows the story behind where our clothes are made and the impact the industry is having on the world. They begin to ask the question #whomademyclothes and as a result, reveal the real human and environmental costs that have occurred as a result of our ‘must have’ cheap clothing. I cannot recommend it enough.

Also, if you have any sources that you think is an absolute must to share, please feel free to flick me an email in the contact section, I love hearing from you!
