PENH LENH

I fell in love with Penh Lenh as soon as I came across them. Firstly, because of their mission and secondly, by the beautiful and timeless jewellery and products they create. Penh Lenh’s mission is to empower marginalised and at-risk women in Cambodia to pursue their life goals through quality education and sustaining employment.

The products are all handcrafted in Phnom Penh by female artisans who are working to build new lives for both themselves and their families. What really makes Penh Lenh though, is their sheer determination to their cause which is demonstrated by 100% of their product sales being reinvested to provide education, vocational training, and advanced career opportunities.

All of the goods that are created in Phnom Penh are 100% ethically sourced and responsibly-made goods. Penh Lenh believes in transparency alongside the notion of slow and sustainable fashion which means that all their pieces are not only timeless in their design, but high quality.

Also in the form of keeping this transparent, I was gifted a pair of earrings and a key chain in order for me to ensure the quality of the products are one’s that I would personally be happy with purchasing myself -of which they absolutely are!  Please also know that on Ethical Made Easy I will only ever talk about brands and products that I use myself and wholeheartedly believe in, as in my opinion this world already has enough craziness to decipher you way through.

The keyring is something that I use every day, and has become the perfect little reminder that in everything you spend your money on, you have the power to impact the lives of others and that of the world around you. PLUS you don’t have to compromise on style in doing so. At least, I hope this is what this blog of mine is slowly teaching you as I learn more myself.

Also, I was lucky enough to have the founder Rachel sit down and have a chat about why Penh Lenh was started, who makes the products, what her dreams are for the future of Penh Lenh along with her morning routine and what inspires her on a daily basis. Be sure to keep your eye’s peeled for that one in the coming weeks! It’s incredibly eye opening.

If you want to purchase your own little piece of Penh Lenh and help impact the lives of women in Cambodia you can do so here. Otherwise, you can follow along on their journey via their socials on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.
