Dear [favourite fashion brand], please tell us, who makes your clothes?

Dear INSERT BRAND NAME,

I am writing as an enthusiastic customer, who adores your clothes but has a few hesitations around the way you conduct business.

I don’t mean to take away from all the awesome initiatives you currently carry out (insert examples here if possible), plus I realise there must be many other ways you look after the people who make your clothes behind the scenes, but there are some crucial questions you have never answered.

We, your consumers, are requesting you answer these, and make these transparent to the public.

I would appreciate your help in answering the questions below in as much detail as possible.

Who makes our clothes?

Where are our clothes made?

How do you ensure the people who make our clothes are consistently paid a fair wage, respected in the workplace, and given the benefits they are owed as skilled seamstresses?

Hypothetically, would you be proud to take me on a tour of your garment factory?

I am incredibly grateful for the time taken to respond to these answers in full detail, and I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Any extra details around the production of your garments would be welcomed too.

Yours truly,

INSERT YOUR NAME
