No Meat Today

Confession: we’re not vegetarians or vegans here at EME, but we’ve definitely been considering the ethical and environmental impacts our meat consumption is having on the world around us. So we downloaded the app, No Meat Today.

It’s basically the simplest (and probably the cutest) app we’ve ever added to our phones. Everyday you’ll receive a push notification from a lovely cow called Naomi asking HAVE YOU EATEN MEAT TODAY? If you answer no, you attract ‘cows’ to your ‘planet’. The more meat-free days you have, the more cows inhabit your planet. It’s a cute solution to a complex problem and we love it!
