The Last Lecture
Randy Pausch was a computer science professor, an avid dreamer, and thanks to his book The Last Lecture, a New York Times bestseller. After receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, Randy gave what would be his last lecture at Carnegie Mellon; a lecture entitled “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams’. With this lecture, Randy stressed the importance of remaining true to your dreams, as well as trying to have fun in everything you do. This incredibly entertaining, relatable and moving lecture was essentially transferred into a book, aptly titled The Last Lecture.
Full disclaimer: you will cry. You will, however, incorporate the message this book communicates into your everyday life.
